Very good car overall. Boot space is the same as an e91 touring with the seats down which is amazing. Very comfortable, frugal. Fuel tank is a bit small being only 50 litres, you’ll realistically only see around 450 miles to a tank in a 1.6 TDI depending if it’s only motorway mileage. Gearbox is a bit notchy at times and turbo lag very annoying. The car itself is brilliant but recommend a 2.0 TDI instead for everything better overall.
How reliable do you find the car?
Worth taking out warranty as the Adaptive Cruise Control is a very expensive fix. They go through shock absorbers and the rear brakes will wear quickly if the callipers are knackered. Infotainment systems lose pixels after a while. Quality of the wiring to the aux water pump is pants.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Been one of the best cars I’ve ever had. Very comfortable on a run, could be better on fuel though being a 1.6 TDI. Free tax is a bonus though.
