Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2013 - 2020) 2.0 TDI Match Edition 5d DSG Owner Review

Well built. Feels quality. Driven carefully in warm conditions I have achieved 70mpg with the DSG set to normal. Looks good after 5 years and not dated. Routine maintenance from VW are at a reasonable cost. Interior space with seats down is very good. Satnav is clear and simple to use. Interior plastics and fabrics feel quality and better than newer models. First car I have kept beyond three years because it does everything I need. Road tax only £30 pa. Currently value approx 40% of purchase price. In sports mode car is spirited in performance and will do 0-60 in about 8-9 seconds (DSG) giving confidence in overtaking. At 1800 rpm car is at motorway speed quiet and relaxed. I have driven the car at 100mph and felt secure and the car was under no strain.
