What does this car say about you?

Likes a practical well made car with a touch of class but doesn't need to show off. Prefers the sporty version.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it looks great in black metallic and are impressed by the practicality. Some younger friends think I'm getting old!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, they are better value than a regular Golf second hand. Although if the family expands it might have to be a Passat next.

What are you likely to buy next?

Passat, Touran or Tiguan. (Or a Touareg if I win some money).

Did you get a good deal and why?

Very good indeed, end of month was looming and sales manager needed to boost his figures.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had many Golfs before. always loved them. Wife expecting a baby, so wanted the extra space offered by the 'Plus'.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.

What's it like to drive?

Just like a Golf: Lively, comfortable and good fun. Excellent diesel engine (I got the GT Sport model)

What's it like to park?

Easy. High driving position, short front end.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Turbo charger replaced under warranty. Didn't need one in my opinion, I researched and found a £10 electronic sensor would have fixed the problem. But my local dealer wanted the warranty work so I got a brand new turbo!

What's most practical about your car?

Space. Back seats slide forward. So many hidden storage compartments I lost count!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Automatic headlights and rain sensor wipers.
