Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. It fulfills everything we looked for in a car.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another Golf Plus, maybe a diesel but I'd need to be convinced it was better than this 1.4 turbo petrol engine which gives great acceleration and has returned 42.5 mpg since we got it.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Excellent deal as we traded in dodgy Peugeot 308 in part exchange.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We were looking for a car which was comfortable, good to drive, reliable and economical - and we found it!

What was the dealer like?

First rate. We tried several cars before this one without finding exactly what we were looking for. Then salesman contacted us about the newly-arrived Golf Plus, which was loaded with every extra and had only done 8,000 miles.

What's it like to drive?

Excellent. Drives just like the Golfs we test drove.

What's it like to park?

Absolute doddle with all the parking aids.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing at all apart from its gets dirty now and then.

What's most practical about your car?

Seats are high and comfortable, boot floor flat and can be enlarged by sliding the rear seats forward.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated leather seats, dual climate control, front and back sensors, self-parking system and, above all, the super-smooth DSG gearbox.
