I chose the GT version as it came with many extras. The car was sold as used, but it was an ex demo. I dont know why not more of them are sold. It is as quick as the Tiguan, has just as much interior space, and handles better than its larger counterparts. One of the best cars I have had as a driving car. I wanted a DSG Semi auto version, but at the time only a manual version was available..but the gearbox is very light and smooth and I dont miss the automatic. If you want a combination of performance, economy, space and drivability I would chose this car all the time. The only slight downside is that the GT comes with sports suspension which gives a slightly harder ride, but not as hard as cars with 18 inch and above wheels.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I have had five VW's over the years including a Passat and a Jetta, and this is by far the best driving car..smooth, responsive, positive steering, and very roomy inside, with a more than adequate boot.About their car
