Bought without doing much research really but the car turned out to be amazing. Then got into the VW scene and realised they are quite rare models especially the genuine GTi versions. Good, strong vehicle and never had any major breakdowns. Keep up with the routine maintenance and it will run for years. Comfy to travel in and easy to drive long journeys of 300 miles plus. The boot space is plentiful and the engine is quite powerful for its age. Now a classic so prices are rising for MK2 Jettas in good condition.
