What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Family love it - we have VW/ Honda/ Susuki & Porsches within imediate family - All think it's a great car especially the VW Golf owners who say it's better in many respects.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes - it suits my family. 2 kids under 3, mainly wife using it around town. Looked at Passats - too big, Golfs of the same engine & age too expensive 2nd hand (why? when the Jetta is so much better) MPV's - you dont't have to have one because you've got kids.

What are you likely to buy next?

VW, most likley a Jetta, or a golf estate when they become more available on the aftermarket.

Bought from VW Dealership so will have paid over the odds, but it's a trustworthy dealership 'so to speak'.

What was the dealer like?

Ok - still have an ongoing issue with a minor paintwork problem, but they have been good so far.

What's it like to drive?

lovely car - used an 06 vw golf 1.9tdi and in my opinion its smoother. Much better than my 'car mistake' citroen picasso! Although its still a family mid-size saloon -it is quick when needed. Steering very precise - responsive. It's no Porsche etc, but its a great drivers car.

What's it like to park?

ok, thought the boot would be an issue, but actually realy good.

Have you had any problems with the car?

nothing (touch wood)

What's most practical about your car?

ECONOMY - FANTASTIC! - running at 48.5 MPG mainly stop-start traffic.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Auto dimming rear view, Guide me home lights, wife loves the vanity lights etc. oh -& pop up boot.
