Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a very good deal, better than demonstrator cars with 5k miles on the clock. Used autoebid.com, so I did not have to do any price haggling.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I owned VW Bora before. Had it for six years, covered 110k with it and was very pleased. I like Jetta, it also sells very well in the US.

What was the dealer like?

Very professional. I was impressed.

What's it like to drive?

Very pleasant to drive. The 2.0 TDI with 140 horsepower has enough power to accelerate on motorway even in 65 mph. Yet the 6th gear keep the fuel consumption low (above 50mpg)

What's it like to park?

Smaller than Passat but bigger than Golf. No major problems with parking.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. 11k miles on it yet.

What's most practical about your car?

Manual sixth gear is also very good for lowering otherwise excellent fuel consumption. I also bought the parking sensors with it, which is very helpful as the boot is high so it is not easy to see the end of the car.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Climate control helps with draughtless environment; parking sensors help with parking; tinted glass in the back keeps the car cool in sunshine; buy also the servicing package, it is to your advantage!
