Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Only £12700 for an 11 month old car with just 60miles from a VW dealer. With metallic paint, ipod connector and leather.

Price, equipment and driving experience

Great, managed a little bit of haggling to get to price.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant. Has great grip and corners very well, better than my 55 plate Civic R. Nice linear performance too. It is smooth and comfortable. 31 mpg easy on very short distance and 38mpg on long distance.
What's it like to park?
A pain in the rear, literally as I can't see where the rear ends when reverse parking.

Huge, remote opening boot.

Auto dimming rear view, auto lights, auto wipers and electric lumbar support.
