Summary
What does this car say about you?
This car says I am sensible and thinking about running costs etc (especially as I am a young driver (22) and cheap insurance, too). It also says I am unique as not many people of my calibre own such an amazing vehicle.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My friends thought i was mad for buying it and took the mik out of me at first saying it's a hair dressers car etc but it's different and stands out at shows etc.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would buy another one (and I did) because I loved it so much, I can't pin down one thing to big this car up as everything just works together so I would have to say the car as a whole is great.
What are you likely to buy next?
I have got my eye's set on a Volkswagen UP! GT as well as keeping my Lupo as a second car.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,400
When did you buy the car?
February 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
When I bought it, I knew it wasn't running right but didn't realise how much it would cost to fix and put right (£350) but that is substantial. I would y recommend driving a Lupo at some stage in your life, they are very spacious (in the front) and I can fit a full week's shopping in the boot (which is tiny). It has a full size spare wheel so none of the max 50mph when you get a puncture and for such a small engine they are quite fruity in the power department.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I loved my first Lupo (sadly written off in the snow at Christmas 2010.).
What was the dealer like?
I bought mine from a trader, he was genuine and would of probably fixed the car before i bought it, but i was in too much of a rush to get it (hated my current car at the time - Citroen AX (never again ) kept hitting my head on the roof as i'm 6'3"). So I skipped the free service and MOT for a reduced price as it was 150 miles away from where I lived (bit of a mistake but we all learn from them).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very fun, a little boaty due due to the standard springs and shocks but these are easy and cheap to replace.
What's it like to park?
Very easy, great visibility and easily manouevrable.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Little things have gone wrong but I would put them down to old age, high mileage and poor servicing in the past.
What's most practical about your car?
Very easy to park and squeeze through gaps due to its petit build.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric front windows
