What does this car say about you?
Unique - you don't see many Lupos. Classy - VW is a quality brand. Fun - my Lupo is cute and full of personality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's cute and memorable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I've considered buying the TDI sport version (which is very rare) due to fuel efficiency and low tax, and would definitely recommend to others for town/city driving.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd be looking for something slightly bigger when I have a family, and also something more comfortable for longer journeys. Perhaps a VW Golf or Audi A1.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fun and nippy, feels solid quality inside, not plasticky.
What's it like to park?
Small, easy to maneuver. Big windows for visibility, but tiny wing mirrors that aren't very helpful!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It has needed a new gearbox, clutch, brakes and cambelt within the last four years. The drivers' side electric window also dropped into the door once and had to have the motor replaced. Every time I've paid to fix it because I love it and see it as an investment. The car is 10 years old now so with all the above parts replaced I hope it will go on and on like most VWs.
What's most practical about your car?
Small to park with good visibility, but doesn't feel small or cramped inside.
