What does this car say about you?
Too cheap to get a Merc CLS?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it. 5 months on and people are still asking for a go in it. Car is still quote a rare sight so I occasionaly get asked about it in petrol stations or car parks.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definetly! This is a company car but I wouldn't hesitate to buy private. Makes me smile when I see it on the drive. Dissapointed however that VW have decided to supply with 5 seats. Removes some of the 'exclusivity'.
What are you likely to buy next?
2 and a half years off yet but would replace for next gen CC maybe but probably something from the VW/Audi group.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent! Adaptive suspension suits all driving moods. Soft and wafty for motorway or hard and rigid for b roads. Normal for all other times. Car has road presence.
What's it like to park?
Terrible! Coupe body is huge and narrow rear screen limits visibilty. Rear parking sensors are a minimum, rear camera would be nice.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Clutch has 'Gritty' feel during slow release travel - Dealer to replace under warranty. Knock from rear suspension, American websites seem to suggest rear anti-roll bar bushes - Dealer to investigate. 2nd gear can grind - Dealer to investigate.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is huge other than that the 4 seat layout limits praticality.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Adaptive suspension. Adaptive headlights. Climate Control. RDS510 6 CD, memory slot touchscreen stereo. Retrofitted - factory bluetooth, rear parking sensors and cruise control.
