Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money.
Costs
Dealer prices not too bad, but get quote first.
-

Driving
Cornering assured, stops very well.
Performance
OK as long as you wind it up to over 4k revs. Otherwise a bit stodgy and flat.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Hasn't let me down - yet. Not looking forward to when it does, don't like the look of things under the bonnet, it's no Morris Oxford.
Image
Hasn't got quite the fit and finish of an Audi, but then it doesn't cost as much. Still a VW though, that speaks for itself.
Comfort
You can all find a good driving position.
-
Security and Service
Security
Alarm plus immobiliser is a comforting thought when I haven't finished paying for the car yet.
Service
Local main dealer courteous, but high workshop prices mean I go to my good local garage for work.
