Who cares ? WHEN it goes.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They laugh when I am stripping it down again but now I have read up on what to do re the PD engine i.e. remove the EGR valve lock the anti run on diaphragm wide open and direct the breather pipe into a filtered seperator bottle ala cosworth turbo racing style it's ok now.
Would you buy this car again and why?
ABSOLUTELY NO WAY UNLESS I BUY IT NEW STRIP IT TOTALLY THEN REBUILD IT PROPERLY VOLKSWAGEN LEGENDARY RELIABILITY THAT STOPPED WITH THE BEETLE I KNOW THIS AS I TUNED AND MODIFIED VW'S FOR 30 YEARS STILL BETTER THAN FORD'S THOUGH.

Yes thought so at first did not HPI car turns out it is CAT1 repair.

Size of luggage area and economy.

What's it like to drive?
WHEN it is going it is great economical and when you learn the turbo diesel driving style it is rapid.
What's it like to park?
Piece of wee.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Oil every where inside the intake system causes pipes to blow and engine run on bad (i.e. NONE)sealing on engine side fuse box causes water ingress and electrical mayhem with ALL car servicesi.e. air bags windows locking everything.
What's most practical about your car?
Size of the luggage area.
