Value
I bought mine privately at 6months old and saved about £8k so was delighted as it is a quality look and feel car for a sensible price.
Costs
Very reasonable - had first service at 18k miles which was £240 ish - regularly get more than 50mpg on a run and 40ish mpg in traffic.

On the road
Driving
Great overall package as comfortable crossing continents as country lanes!
Performance
Torque is unreal, handling is very acceptable - I would like to see a 6th gear as standard although she doesn't rev high in top at speed. It would just add to the economy and quietness.

Living with it
Reliability
Faultless in first year of ownership.
Image
I like it as it has Merc style indicators in mirror housings, colour coded locks and bumpers - although a new Estate is due out late this year which might make it look a bit more dated.
Comfort
At 6'1 and driving 30K miles per year - this is very important to me and it is great. Legroom in the back behind me is superb. Leather heated seats, steering wheel & gear shifter all add to the feeling of luxury.
