Volkswagen Passat Estate (00-05) rivals
Overview
Latest Passat models build on their reputation for high standards of quality, and still rank amongst the best choices in this class. Revised rather than completely re-designed, to keep it ahead of rivals such as Mondeo. Changes to the bodywork include new lights both front and rear, a larger corporate grille and flashings of chrome, while there is the choice of excellent petrol and diesel units.
This includes the satisfyingly swift TDI PD 130.
