Independent

No
What price did you pay?
£8,000
When did you buy the car?
September 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought the car from Autoquake (no longer in operation) and got a good deal as their costs are low due to only having one site and you have to effectively buy and then go and see the car within a week.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We had just had our second child and required a car with a large boot and I have always liked VWs.
What was the dealer like?
Based in Leeds so a long way to go but definitely got a deal.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is slow to accelerate but it is a big car. Useless on snow. A comfy drive but a little on the noisy side. Cruises nicely.
What's it like to park?
I find it really easy to park as the 360 degree vision is good, none of those big bars but it is very long so sometimes you stick out a bit.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The keys are expensive to replace if they go wrong. It costs about £300 to replace them. We also had a problem with the passenger front door not opening which turned out to be a cable in the door.
What's most practical about your car?
It has a very large boot and the legroom in the back is good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The handbrake is a button and it automatically comes off when doing a hill start.
