Volkswagen Passat Estate (2005 - 2011) 1.9 SE TDI 5d Owner Review

I reviewed this car a couple of years ago now and having ran it I think I was being too generous about the review I gave it as I owned it a long time. The car was trouble from day 1. It was Grossly underpowered. It was constantly being repaired nearly every garage trip it needed something replacing. There was not enough seat movement or adjustment and took ages to get relatively comfortable - It was a very uncomfortable car to drive to the point of it being unbearable. The turbo became faulty and good garages charge ALOT of money to replace. The injectors are also a joke when told how much they cost to replace! Highly overrated. It had a good boot size though and was a good load lugger. The dash and centre console looked good and the cars styling didn’t seem to age like other brands as they still look quite sleek. These cars can rack up the mileage but this one cost me a lot of money in parts to get it there!
