The poorest aspect was having to have the front wings replaced at 3 years under warranty due to rust appearing on the inside lip of the wheel arches. The replacements were very well fitted but have had further attention since for the same problem, which was paid for by VW. The car has also had 3 rear springs replaced, the first two under warranty. Otherwise no faults and really good to drive.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Excellent towcar, returns 30 mpg towing a medium size caravan over many miles in UK & Europe, 49-51 mpg solo. Cruise control superb, DSG gearbox excellent. Comfortable seats and good aircon.About their car
