No. Definitely not. Very unreliable components which are expensive to replace.

Basic Ford Focus - at least replacement parts should be cheaper!

I thought so at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I thought it would be a reliable car that would last me 5+ years.
What was the dealer like?
I actually bought it from Tesco Cars during the brief period they existed. It was a remarkably pleasant and hassle-free experience!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very nice when it's working and reasonably fuel efficient.
What's it like to park?
Fine, no problems.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Where do I start! It has been plagued by stupid failures. The LH door lock. The rear door lock. The electric parking brake (which I hate anyway). Some valve in the intake manifold (which requires the whole manifold to be replaced). The RH electric window switch. I've spent £2k-plus keeping the damn thing on the road in less than two years.
What's most practical about your car?
The steering wheel works!
