Volkswagen Passat Estate (2015 - 2024) 2.0 TDI SCR (190bhp) GT 5d Owner Review

The main reason for buying this car was for more space for a growing family. It is much bigger than my previous car and more modern so all the technology is welcome, it seems they have thought of everything to make the driving experience easier for you. It is nice and solid on the motorway, not the most exciting drive but feels safe and well put together. I got the 190 model for a bit of extra umph and I do find there is a bit of a lag at low revs, even when compared to the 150 version, it soon picks up and the power kicks in but a bit disappointing that it it not a bit smoother. I would recommend as a great family work horse, so far v reliable and great economy at £20 per yr road tax with excellent performance
