Volkswagen Passat Estate (2015 - 2024) 2.0 TDI SE Business 5d Owner Review

Stop/start button out of view. Sat Nav too low & not as good a system as my old garmin, CD fills glove box. Less storage all round. ACC slows the car too much when cars in front turn off, and is too slow picking up again leaving one waiting for a rear end thump. Alarm override is now too low. Doors/boot too heavy. Park sensors can't be turned off & annoy in traffic and when by bits of overhanging foliage. Seats not as comfortable as older models. Cruise controls not as user friendly as the older system. Suspension is just about ok if comfort is the priority, but suberb if you want to drive on the edge. The drive is superb and I've never experienced braking as good. Auto change is smooth & unnoticeable. But sorry I've got rid of this 2016 model and bought a 2008 highline. Does less mpg but doesn't drive me to distraction. VW please dismiss your designers. Why have you made this car bigger yet the boot is only about 5mm wider and there's less in the storage compartments. Change for change sake. Ridiculous!
