It is classy and understated.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They really like it, like the mix of practicality and performance. I have been stopped and asked about the car quite a bit as they are a rare site on UK roads.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes very pleased with it. It has been much cheaper to run than my subaru, and has much more usuable everyday performance. It is a shame they have stopped making them, as i test drove a S4 estate before buying the R36, and it was not worth the extra money, as the on road performnace was the same, even though the Audi on paper is the quicker car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Next would either be a Audi S5 sportback, or get 2 cars, a performance car and a small 4 wheel drive as well, possibly a M3 and a Freelander.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, the car was only 5 months old with 5000 miles. I bought in the middle of the recession, and got £16000 knocked off the new price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was looking for a quick comfy estate to replace my Legacy Spec B. I needed 4 wheel drive for where i live and an estate for dogs etc.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was excellent in Crawley, the dealer in aberdeen, was rubbish, as they attempted to charge me an extra £4000 for the same car. I went straight to the Crawley dealer, they sorted out all the paperwork, delivered the car, and took away my trade in, i would use them again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is a pleasure. The handling is great for a big estate, loads of power for overtaking, 4 wheeldrive for the winter, on our untreated roads. Also the difference using the DSG box in drive or sport is hugh, in drive the car is very relaxing and easy to drive long distances, where as in sport it is much more alive and eager, there is a big change in character to the car.
What's it like to park?
No problems, parking sensors and rear camera, which is great.

What's most practical about your car?
It is a big comfy estate, i do a lot of walking and climbing, so it is easy to fit my dogs, gear and friends in the car. With the seats down also there is loads of room for my mountain bikes.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car came with the full set of gadgets, but i do like the memory seats as my girlfriend uses the car when i am away from home, and it is great to just get in and have my driving postion set up
