Volkswagen Passat Saloon (1996 - 2001) 1.9 SE TDI PD (115ps) 4d (AC) Owner Review

purchased my 2001 vw passat 1.9TDI se 130bhp in november 2019 and kept for 1 year the previous owner had owned her for 14 years and the tdi engine had only 92000 miles from new. the best thing about my passat was the 130bhp engine great on fuel and very powerfull for a deisel whilst returning between 40 and 50mpg the only thing i could of asked for would of been a 6 speed manual instead of the 5 speed the car came with very happy on the motorway but the rpm at 70mph was 2250rpm as i said a need for an extra cog the car drives well and is very reliable and feels very well put together if a little dull in the cockpit my only complaint is the radio and heater controls where set a little low in the dash and you have to momenterraly take your eyes of the road but other than that i rate the passat b5.5 especially with the well renound 130pd engine a sound buy for the money and very reliable.
