Not too bad. Sick of being blown away by passat 130 PD! - should have bought a diesel...

Reliability
Worst ever from VW, clutch failure (within the 1st 8000 miles) and 4 seperate occasions of coil failure - a known problem within VW. Ran out of fuel with gauge showing 1/4 tank - turned out to be an 'electrical' problem.

Good image. Plenty of people want to drive it.
Comfort
Excellent big mileage cruiser. Leather and heated seats a must as the interior looks sooo classy.

Arrogant VW dealer did not help with my issues. VW UK were helpful and freed up information allowing me to confront the dealer on 2 occasions - not a thing you would expect to have to do after you have laid out 23k for a loaded car - get it together VW...

4 seperate occasions of coil failure - after being assured on the 3rd occurrance that it would "not happen again sir"...

Fuel sender problem led me to run out of fuel. Several other trim niggles were sorted under warranty.
