Economy
Value
When I bought the car I thought it would hold its value better. I bought mine for 7k a year ago and cant even sell it for 4 1/2 now.
Costs
I drive 60 miles a day on A and B roads, lucky to get 30 mpg out of it! Petrol is about £55 a week!

Driving
The sports suspension is nice not too bumpy. I do think that there is too much wheel spin in first and second if you put your foot down. Power is good from 2 1/2 thousand revs, but poor between 1 - 2 1/2. Also get a lot of slide on tight bends!

Living with it
Reliability
Engine seems good, but little problems keep popping up. Sensors on dash flash on and off all the time.
Image
OK, could do with 17's or 18's to fill those huge arches!
Comfort
Very comfy, I find the interior nice too. Boot is massive, if you have kids its great for push chairs etc.

Security and Service
Security
Good, but had ecu problems leading to the alarm going off all the time!
Service
You all know the story, every time you send it in with a problem it comes out with two more! I take mine to Awesome GTI in Manchester VW specialists who know what they are doing!
