Economy
Value
Seems to keep it's value well.
Costs
In the first two weeks it's been in the garage 3 times. However at 50+ MPG it shouldn't cost too much to run.

On the road
Driving
Great to drive, comfortable but the handling is a bit spongy
Performance
After driving a 1.6 Laguna for 4 years the difference is massive. 0-60 in 9.5 seconds, 130 MPH and great MPG.

Living with it
Reliability
In the first two weeks it's been in the garage 3 times. Problems with the air flow meter and the EGR valve so far. thought that this would be a reliable motor but wish I had bought a Mondeo!
Image
VW has an excellent reputation for quality, I just hope that my car starts to live up to it.
Comfort
Seats are firm but comfortable. Lots to adjust so you should be able to find a good driving position.
