Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much, just appreciate quality perhaps.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They find it very comfortable.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Bought this shape rather than newer Passat due to it being far more reliable than the 2.0 diesel and having much better performance than a lower hp 1.9, so no, I wouldn't buy a newer diesel Passat.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably something a little smaller/newer, if I can find a reliable modern diesel without all the expensive bits (DPF,DMF etc)!

No
What price did you pay?

February 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought at a shade over Parker's guide price, but car was immaculate and obviously extremely well maintained and in the best colour.

Quality, reputation for reliability, 130 engine and mpg.
What was the dealer like?
N/a

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not a sports car, but the slightly lowered suspension does give a better handling experience than a standard Passat. Seats are so comfortable, especially if you suffer with a bad back.
What's it like to park?
Not too easy, but I still manage comfortably without having to resort to sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing major, just one or two minor electrical niggles.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot with split/fold seats. Even though as saloon am still able to throw a mountain bike in!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
CD changer in dash.
