Economy
Value
Picked this model up for £7,500. Has all the usuals such as Climate, CD (previous owners Kenwood), Mul-T-lok, heated seats etc.
Costs
Not all that bad actually. Cheaper to insure than my MK6 Polo and my MK4 Golf. I find the engine really kind with petrol. Being nearly a tonne and a 1/2 in weight AND with a 2.0l engine. Not bad!

On the road
Driving
Solid! Very VW!
Performance
Not bad for only having 115 horses, but with being a 2.0l, you would expect more. Example, Ford Focus 2.0l, 140 bhp.

OK. Engine management lamp appears now and then, but apparently that is the CatCon sorting itself out!

Polo to Passat - its a VW. That's all the image you need.
Comfort
Nice big seats and lots of cabin space.
