They probably think I'm an accountant.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I will probably buy something a little more exciting to drive next time round which may mean going back to a petrol engine. This is not a put down in respect of the Passat as it has delivered on the criteria that I selected as being key requirements when I made the original purchase.
What are you likely to buy next?
Heart says Alfa, head says Honda, may be keep the Passat as cheap to run and get a motorbike for fun instead!

Did you get a good deal and why?
Purchased the car from Motorpoint as part of a part exchange. They offered the best deal by far.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Value for money, reliable, safety, room for family, residual value, economy.
What was the dealer like?
No problems to report regarding buying from Motorpoint, infact, I would buy from them again.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Solid and quite noisey at low speed. I understand the newer engine is better in this respect. Once you've excepted the limitations of the engine is fine. I didn't buy it for its speed!
What's it like to park?
OK, you just have to be able to park without relying on gadgets to tell you when to stop.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong to date. Bonnet had too many stone chips, VW approved warrantly claim within 24 hours and resprayed bonnet and provided hire car foc, excellent service in this respect.
What's most practical about your car?
Roomy with a good size boot, very good tank range for long trips.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Being the entry level model its not too big with respect to gadgets. Opening the boot with the remote key fob is probably as good as its gets.
