No as parts are expensive and it would appear these parts are often required. We're not talking little fuses and bulbs etc.

Not a VW, probably something more reliable.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, bought at a market low so thought the price was very reasonable, they sell at the same price now in 2011.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looking for a larger family car due to having two teenagers.
What was the dealer like?
Helpful local dealer, our first choice.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth, powerful, and very comfortable. A much better drive on motorways compared to back roads.
What's it like to park?
Not easy to park as difficult to judge where the car started and ended, also a large turning circle. Best to have with parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Radiator needed replacing 6 months after buying, clutch went less than a year later, inlet manifold flap just failed most recently.
What's most practical about your car?
Size and space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Speed sensitive stereo, got louder the faster you drove slightly.
