ok but just wanted our money and to sell us tyre insurance and other products to top up there high profitmargins

Have you had any problems with the car?

Everything. Broke down twice due to fuel pump failure and software problems, tyre wear rear inside edges, wheels laquer peels and rims replaced,finaly engine oil pump stopped working at 92,000 miles. Car was out of waranty so dealer fitted new one & requested £1200 for this but then informed us engine is scrap and carnt do any more. Dealer is Inchape VW UK and Dealer have been completly un simpathetic and unhelpfull. Attitude is engine has had its life at 92,000 miles on a deisel car even though the vehicle has ben serviced to the full shedule at Inchcape. £800 spent 6 months ago 8000 miles with cam belt and service. I beleve there is a problem with the engine oil pump drive "Spur Gear".
