Volkswagen Passat Saloon (2015 - 2021) 1.4 TSI GTE 4d DSG Owner Review

Looks great, lots of positive comments from all ages, with the various “blue” touches both inside and out. Grips incredibly well and feels very stable. Ultra smooth when in hybrid mode and power n the battery, very quick in GTE mode. Charges quickly and I like the way there are no visible plug in flaps or “” badges. Reverse camera options is good, not the sharpest but good at night. Adaptive cruise control is actually very useful, DSG box very smooth and responsive. Can get 30 miles from a charge on flat roads and smooth driving. Best to use hybrid mode for hills. Charges from the car surprisingly quickly. Good “combined” fuel consumption, equivalent to around 65 mpg, so not too different from a diesel. Very quiet and relaxing to drive, loads of room with good features as standard. Recommend reverse camera, not so bothered about apple car play. Makes a lot of sense as a company car, get a home charger and you can whizz around in style and comfort for very little cost. Overall a really impressive car and technical achievement.
