First off what an appalling RHD conversion. Selector buttons are hidden by the gear lever and Infotament buttons that are used the most are the furthest they can be. They are all located for LHD! Don’t believe the reviews which say it’s ergonomically excellent, it would be if the buttons had been repositioned. Other than that the GTE is perfect and has saved me many £1000 in company car tax!
How reliable do you find the car?
I had juddering reversing and noise as if the gearbox was stalling but really was hunting between engine and electric. Sorted itself out as VW could find nothing wrong although a Google will show similar issues. Creating sunroof blind which was replaced.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Amazed that driving gently purely on petrol it will do 54 mpg. However my average combined over 10000 miles has been 76mph, ignoring the cost of electricity. Very relaxing to drive. It’s easy to get 25 miles from the batteries. If you don’t you have a heavy foot.About their car
