Volkswagen Polo GTi (2010 - 2017) 1.8 TSI GTI 5d Owner Review

In their own words
After reading the Parkers review which to be honest seems poor and a mash up of the old 1.4TSi review GTi and the new model I thought I would put across my personally point of view over. After owning the car from new for just over six months I can really rate this car for performance, build and space. As a Dad with two small children I find the Polo to be ideal in size and fits me like a glove (I'm 5ft 11"). The performance on offer is staggering from the 1.8TSi engine which matted to a manual box serves up over 320nm of torque and makes for easy overtaking in all situations. The manual is the best model to go for as it's such a slick easy shifting box. The interior is solid and well equipped with the seats in the traditional tartan looking really special making this more of a mature hot hatch, with good levels of equipment as standard. Mine is in red which matted to the black alloys looks great. I would suggest VW is a little naive with the 6.7's 0-62 mph time, probably to keep the Golf GTi customers happy!. I would strongly recommend this car which makes me smile every time I drive it. Go and get yourself one and save £7K on a Golf GTi!.
