What does this car say about you?
Not all that much really - sensible if anything. Makes you look pretty cheap if you're not a student!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family like it as it's solidly built, full of airbags and never going to be driven fast enough to do me any damage. Friends like it as it's a pretty comfortable place for passengers, although it doesn't exactly turn heads.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, sadly it just doesn't entertain enough. Would recommend it without hesitation for any new driver or anyone who wants an easy, comfortable car to drive and isn't worried about getting the pulse racing.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure, but something with a 0-60 in 10 seconds or less and gets an mpg in the mid thirties or higher would be ideal really!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Easy enough to drive, but the controls are a lot heavier than I would expect, especially if the clutch hasn't been replaced recently. I can't fault the drive, except that it is totally uninspiring. The 1.4 engine is very underpowered for it's capacity, and doesn't enjoy to rev at all. Driven casually it is a very relaxing drive, but don't expect any excitement.
What's it like to park?
Easy as pie. Very small and easy to see where the extremities of the car are. Power steering on the CL makes it effortless to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only once since I bought it - the starter motor siezed up.
What's most practical about your car?
The car is simple and solidly built. The engine and gearbox essentially date back to the 1970s and have always been solid and reliable.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric windows are pretty much the only gadget. Nice to have them, but they do rattle in a way that makes me wonder how much longer I'll have electric windows at all.
