Yes I did, I got £1,000.00 off and free mats, petrol, key ring, metallic paint.

For the look, the safety aspects.

Not nice now, I worry all the time, however when it was new it was a pleasure.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes, lots....the electric windows have gone twice, a kit had to be bought and then a regulator, the gearbox went at 53,000 mls, which i was shocked by along with the clutch. About five months later the pedalbox went and so did the clutch again. VW did fix this FOC, and now 8 weeks down the line the clutch has gone again and the clutch arm may need to be repaired.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing now, I used to feel special in it and safe because of the style and the way it was build, but it seems as though that the internal makings of the car fall a long way from the external design, which is what most people initally fall for.
