Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm willing to pay slightly more for a quality car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My family think its a very nice car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would love to be able to afford the new polo, but I am still very happy with mine. I would happily purchase another polo. I love the build quality, the interior layout is nice too, everything serves a purpose. No tacky useless extras.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd very much like to own a new polo TDI, maybe a polo dune in a few years depending on depreciation.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looking for something small but good quality. Also needed to be in a reasonable insurance group due to age.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very nice and smooth. Very nippy when you rev it being 16V, although it's not that quick until you get to about 3000 RPM. The polo feels like a much larger car than it is and feels very comfortable and controlled on all road. Copes fine with motor ways.
What's it like to park?
Very good turning circle, although the mirrors are a bit on the small side for reverse parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet, although I've only had it for a couple of months now.
What's most practical about your car?
Reasonable size boot for the size of car, good on fuel.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric sunroof is nice. I'm very fond of the blue dials.
