What does this car say about you?
Volkswagen brand so reliability radiate out of the car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Reliable but a little boring. Surprised how nippy the engine is though.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Simply because the basic models of volkswagens are very bare. No gadgets or equipment anywhere. The body roll round corners can get quite scary.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe something more sporty like a coupe. Reliability is nice but I'd like to enjoy driving a more equipped. A Toyota celica is perhaps my next car. Reliable and good looking.

Alot of car for £1300. Just had engine serviced and major components replaced.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
First car broke down so needed a reliable replacement.
What was the dealer like?
Bought from local mechanic. Sold after he had done alot of work on it. Took my broke car as part payment.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Polo 1.2 engine is very strong pulling so is quite quick around town. Very nippy and steering is super light which is helpful. Bad points is it rolls very badly round corners and on motorways it sits quite high in the revs in 5th gear.
What's it like to park?
Simple as steering is light and very good visibility all around. Rear window is on a little high of an angle so seeing directly behind and below is alittle strange.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Has a few squeakes and rattles and suspension is a little creaky but it has done 135000 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
5 door offers plenty of space front and back with a very large boot. Capable of doing almost anything from shopping to transporting football gear.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated wing mirrors. My car is the standard so dont get alot but heated wing mirrors are very useful in the cold. They warm up very quickly.
