Summary
What does this car say about you?
Short, nippy, good build quality, never a fault!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They have questioned how a ten year old car always starts first time when their 5 year old car struggles on colder days. I've been complimented on how it always looks really well when washed so the body definitely holds up alright even as it ages.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Probably not. I would love to, however finding one with such low mileage for that much of a bargain does not happen twice. It has been great and I will run it into the ground before buying my next car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either another Volkswagen or SEAT since they are both very similar and my family has used them for years without any bother. I can't see myself buying another car for at least another 5-10 years until the mighty Polo sadly leaves us.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£350
When did you buy the car?
March 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Amazing deal!! The Polo cost me £350 with a couple of silly problems due to poor care from the previous dealer; fixed these myself. It only had 22000 miles on it when I purchased it. Had it 6 months now and there hasn't been a problem since I fixed it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Cheap and will last for years! Volkswagens well-renowned build quality and reliability!
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great car to drive, does not feel shaky at all with a quiet engine, however, very noisy from wind etc when driving above 45mph. No cruise control or anything like that so long motorway journeys can be both stressful and tiring.
What's it like to park?
Easy to park since it is quite small. I have recently found myself getting into extremely tight spaces at car parks at shopping centres etc. Great for maneuvers such as 3-point-turns.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing since I fixed it when bought.
What's most practical about your car?
Small and nippy with decent mpg for a petrol car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Adjustable cup holder.. or maybe the feet warmers/coolers.
