What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Like the looks (Bluemotion Polos have rear spoiler and closed grill) - very impressed with MPG - surprised by the punchy engine.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, already looking forward to the next generation Polo Bluemotion coming on the market early 2010.

Deal worked out well with reasonable value offered for my trade-in.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

What was the dealer like?

Better than most. Most franchise dealers surprise you by not caring really that much about a great customer experience. However, once the deal was done the interest disappeared.

What's it like to drive?

A doddle. Even though it's a small diesel engine it's surprisingly punchy and quite capable in all circumstances. Even long European roundtrips are dispatched with great ease - overtaking all slow traffic easily.

What's it like to park?

Being a small car with plenty of glass all around quite easy. Light steering helps too.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had to replace windscreen as the repair by the dealer prior to purchase didn't hold for long. Rear suspension problem for VW issued a recall (but I wasn't made aware of until I complained) was sorted under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

MPG remains very impressive. Plus 99g CO2 means no road tax. Rear seats fold giving a very usable load space for a small car.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Aircon. Other than that I really like the Bluemotion interior - make the interior a lot lighter/friendlier/less stark.
