What does this car say about you?
It doesn't reflect my personality at all, not quick enough, very boring interior
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it but they've got lower expectattion than I do...!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I'd avoid like the plague, it's overpriced and quite a boring drive

Did you get a good deal and why?
Definitely not! I'm in the process of trading it in and the depreciation has been pretty shocking in 18mths
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had previously owned a 98 polo and wanted a newer one
What was the dealer like?
As usual, bent over backwards before I bought the car and then proved very hard to get hold of afterwards

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quite nippy and quick once you've gotten past the turbo lag in 2nd. However, it sounds like a tractor when driven hard. Also, the fuel econ is pretty poor. I do almost exclusively motorway driving and I've struggled to get more than 40ish mpg which is a long way off the published figures

Have you had any problems with the car?
The build quality is pretty poor compared to my previous polo, the parcel shelf supports broke during normal use
What's most practical about your car?
It's small and easy to park, least practical is the fact that there's no light in the boot, just how tight are VW these days? For that you have to buy an SE spec....
