Economy
Value
It keeps its 3 year value better, so you will see better money back in three years compared to other manufacturer's models.
Costs
45mpg minimum when driving around town (and I have a lead foot). 50+mpg on motorway, 60mpg if you drive like my mum.

On the road
Driving
Fantastic, but has to have sports suspension. Have driven other models without sports suspension and it's not a fantastic drive.
Performance
0-60 in 10.5 secs is fair, 120-ish top speed is academic, but it's the way it pulls when you put your foot down to overtake on the motorway. And 50-ish mpg to boot.

Living with it
Reliability
Overall fantastic, but if you think you can escape minor trim niggles etc, then you are mistaken, hence four stars.
Image
Usually viewed in a higher esteem than rivals, which is usually reflected in their second hand values.
Comfort
Any car in this day and age will cosset. Sports suspension a little jarring when not in the mood.

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks, alarm/immobiliser, cubby holes to store items out of sight, etc, etc.
Service
So far, dealer and manufacturer have been courteous, helpful and prompt.
