great 1st car but as only is 60bhp it takes a very long time to build up speed which can be dangerous pulling out of junctions onto faster roads etc, however it can feel nippy on back roads in lower gears. Wouldn't say car handles the best either- back end has wanted to slide out a few times in normal and wet condition's (going the speed limit) and felt the car has lost slight control. Apart from that interior is great! feels so spacious inside even for my partner who is nearly 6ft, and radio is great compared to other cars.
How reliable do you find the car?
both front shock absorbers have been replaced within 62,000 miles, been back to vw with a numerous problems including mainly exhaust, brakes, and seatbelt.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
