What does this car say about you?

I am not sure. It's just a midrange hatchback. Young married couple?

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Probably won't notice it. But l might get a "looks nice" from family.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, It's a good quality car that won't look dated in five years.

What are you likely to buy next?

The Polo will stay. But l am going to get a Ferrari 348 to replace the Mondial t l sold three years ago.

The price seemed about right, and the car looks like new so had clearly been cared for.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Ny wife always liked the VW Polo, she has had three previous generation ones.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

More fun than you'd expect, given the power output. The three cylinder engine has character and performs well. On the motorway it holds its own and will maintain outside lane speeds even uphill. Not what l expected with only 60hp under my right foot. At a steady 80mph it returns nearly 50mpg.

What's it like to park?

As easy as any small car. I think later versions have parking sensors but you shouldn't need them on a car this size!

Have you had any problems with the car?

No faults have come to light so far.

What's most practical about your car?

Well, it's everything you'd want in a small hatchback. I like the concealed luggage area under the floor, and the fact that with the seats folded it's completely flat.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The Match is well specified, there is no single thing that stands out, other than the fact that it seems well made. My neighbour has a 2003 Polo that still looks like it just came out of the showroom.
