Volkswagen Polo Hatchback (2009 - 2017) 1.2 TDI SE 5d Owner Review

I'm an 18 year old student and this car is perfect for me! I bought it due to its avagerage pricing and it's great fuel consumption. When I bought it I had to travel 100+ miles to collect via train and I hadn't test driven it before purchasing as I knew it would be just what I was looking for and it most definitely hasn't let me down! I did have problems at first, in the cars defence it was my fault, I had hit a pot hole too hard which cause a ball-joint to make a knocking noise, but the part only cost £45 and my father and I fitted it on his driveway, easy! Although this is only a 1.2 TDI vehicle it goes like a 1.4/1.6 petrol when in higher gears, it's very fast! And the automatic handbrake gave me a shock, as it is such s cheap car! The only problems I'd say would be it's quite sluggish in 1st and 2nd, but I do understand this is due to it having a small desiel engine! 100% would recommend, although if you're looking for proformance I'd suggest the 1.6 TDI
