Summary
What does this car say about you?
Want a safe and wellmade car if a little dull.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Like it in red.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, with a bigger budget would go for the 1.2 TSi engine. Shame Match Edition cannot be had with 1.2 TSi 90 in the UK.
What are you likely to buy next?
Similar car but a few years off. BMW goes first and may go for a MK7 Golf GTi.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Very good deal, had a price we were prepared to pay and knew what model and spec we were after.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed 5 seats and 5 doors our up! was 3 doors and 4 seats.
What was the dealer like?
Very good overall, although did not have the car in stock we wanted so had to have a factory order.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Steering is a bit on the light side and soft suspension whilst soaking up bumps means it leans a little in the corners. The Polo is designed to be comfortable and safe rather than a really good drive. The up! changes direction better and is sportier to drive. 1.4 litre engine is a good match for the Polo is smooth at lower revs and enough power for the size of car. 5thgear is quite long and will require a downchange on steeper hills even at speed if fully laden.
What's it like to park?
Easy with god all round vision and standard fit rear parking distance sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, but is still running in.
What's most practical about your car?
Having 5 doors, 5 seats and a decent sized boot. Has less rear headroom than our previous up! but more legroom.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth phone and DAB radio which works much better than our F20 1 Series.
