Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully that I have enough sense to find a car that gets the compromise that most of us want. I mean, good performance, 48 mpg, £20 to tax and for me insurance of £170 per year.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Ok, here's the rub, they think a Polo is for girls! But I think they love it really.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely I would. It ticks so many boxes, performance, classy, refined, cheap to run.
What are you likely to buy next?
I have just traded it in for a new Golf GTi. The only car to beat it in my opinion.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£17,500
When did you buy the car?
April 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
It wasn't bad all told. If I don't feel that I am getting a good deal then I won't deal. It's as simple as that.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The promise of good performance and cheap running costs was too good to pass over.
What was the dealer like?
They were pretty good. My only annoyamnce is the continued hard sell of "add ons" like paint protector, wheel insurance etc. How many times does one have to say no thanks?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Performance is pretty impressive and is as much, if not more than most people will need. It will handle long journeys comfortably too. If you have no need for a big car, I can't think of a better choice than this.
What's it like to park?
Easy, it has parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing, it has been perfect.
What's most practical about your car?
Glove box seems huge. But there are loads of storage spaces in the cabin.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Optional winter pack with heated seats.
