Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Bought it approved used from the main dealer at 34k miles. The price was a few thousand over what I would have liked to spend but after 6 months I feel like it was worth it. The build is very solid, the steering wheel is thick leather material adding a touch of executive to the otherwise functional interior. But it’s a polo after all. Engine is quiet, surprisingly efficient on the motorway and the gearing feels good.

I’m single 26 years old - about to buy a house with my girlfriend so having a reliable motor with some smart styling and a bit of quality is important - I see myself clinging onto this polo for 10+ years.

For a car I plan to keep services and maintain to the best of my ability, I’m excited to see how long it lasts…(150k+?)

How reliable do you find the car?

Very solid so far. Everything from engine to interior feels very sturdy.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Quite surprised with how efficient the engine is on my 20 mile commute on the M4. After the engine warms up, sitting anywhere between 70-75mph I consistently get 50+ mpg. On a long trip to Manchester (from Berkshire) sitting at 75 on cruise control I was very surprised at 60mpg on the dash! Obviously the 1 litre is small but it’s got enough poke from the turbo to meet the needs of accelerating to motorway speeds or nipping off the mark (after a long day in the office some speed is often a nice remedy). On the motorway it’s more quiet than I expected too, feels like an executive car (minus the sparkle).
