Not a clue. I bought the car because I like the styling.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Wife hates it because it is old. Friends and neighbours like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definately. Bullet proof. 17 years old on purchase and never welded. Not many cars can boast this sort of build.
What are you likely to buy next?
VW Golf Estate. Much more practical but still a VW

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes like stink. Holds the road very well on corners. Bit harsh at slow speeds, but all part of the driving experience. Heavy steering at slow speeds.
What's it like to park?
No problems.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In 4 months of ownership and many miles the only thing to go wrong was the bush at the back of the accelerator pedal gave up the ghost. A temporary repair was made by reversing the bush until a new one was bought and that was easy to get and cheap at under £5
What's most practical about your car?
Not the most practical of cars ... cramoped in the back, easy to bash heads getting in, but goes like the clappers!

Driving position is good
